Plurk – Your Life, On The Line!
Not so long ago my Mom stumbled over a site called Plurk.
In it’s schema Plurk resembles Twitter and it might not be a wildly popular miniblogging site, but it’s really clear and neatly arranged. At the beginning it might be kind of frustrating though, because you have to earn so-called “Karmapoints”. The more Karmapoints you earn, the more functions Plurk affords you.
But how do i get more Karma? The first time you log into Plurk, it says that you should update your profile to gain Karma. Writing new posts and making friends will mostly increase your points.
If you were inactive for a few days you Karma will surely drop; because of that i recommend to stop by everyday, just for a few minutes, to take your time to write 3-4 new posts about what you are or were doing. With specific numbers of Karmapoints you earn more and more smilies and features, like designing your personal profile (or Timeline) with CSS.
It’s very enormous in functions and worth to drop by for once!
